A second mini system based on the smaller Model 2 shell and expanded with Mega-CD titles.

Sega launched the regional Mega Drive Mini 2 and Genesis Mini 2 systems on October 27, 2022. Each uses the Model 2 design and a 60-game lineup tailored to its market.
