Sega Mark III / Master System

Sega’s upgraded 8-bit platform evolved from the Japanese Mark III into the worldwide Master System.

The SG-1000 Mark III arrived in Japan in 1985. Sega redesigned and rebranded the hardware for its 1986 North American launch, then supported multiple international revisions and long-running licensed production.
