Microsoft’s third console evolved from an entertainment-centered launch into the smaller One S and more powerful One X.

Xbox One launched with Kinect and a broad living-room focus before Microsoft rebuilt the platform around games, backwards compatibility, and Xbox Game Pass. The family later expanded through the compact Xbox One S, the disc-free All-Digital Edition, and the higher-performance Xbox One X.
