A tiny metal-bodied Game Boy Advance offered a bright screen and interchangeable faceplates.

Game Boy Micro prioritized pocketability and finish over backwards compatibility. It played Game Boy Advance games only and arrived as Nintendo DS was beginning to replace the Game Boy line.
